Gio is a graduate of the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, where he studied music in 1983. Performing is his passion as both a guitarist and vocalist. Throughout his career, Gio has shared the stage with Ronnie James Dio, Megadeth, Vinnie Colaiuta, Mars Cowling of the Pat Travers Band, and has performed before crowds of more than 70,000 people at Farm Aid alongside Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, and Dave Matthews. Endorsed by Gibson Guitars, Gio is also a lyricist, composer, accomplished session musician, former Musical Director at Comedy Central, and worked with Roger Corman as an actor, lyricist, and composer for the film Beach Balls.
